All tickets for this event are considered general admission. There are no reserved seats. No refunds or exchanges.
Logistics
When using GPS to navigate to Charlottesville High School, most directions will bring you to the back entrance of
Charlottesville High School on Grove Road and Concord Drive. Instead, please enter CHS at the main entrance on
Melbourne Road; use the US 250 McIntire Rd Exit to access Melbourne Road. For trucks and buses please follow
routes from McIntire Rd / John W. Warner Parkway: other routes to CHS are neighborhood streets with possible
overhead obstructions
All buses and equipment trucks are required to park in designated areas only. The main parking lot for all buses and
equipment trucks is on the grounds of Charlottesville High School. A parking attendant will meet you to direct you to a
parking spot. In the event that this lot is full when you arrive, you will be directed to an overflow parking lot.
Unloading instruments and other equipment can be done at your convenience. During the unloading of instruments
and equipment please be aware that buses and trucks will be parked close to and on each side of one another. If your
unloaded instruments and equipment are in the way of a designated parking spot, you will be asked to move them.
Upon parking, proceed to the check-in tent at the Charlottesville High School Performing Arts Center.
CHS Main Entrance Location
Directions from I-64 East
1. Take exit 124 for US-250 towards Charlottesville/Shadwell
2. Use the right 2 lanes to the take the ramp onto US-250 W
3. Continue on US-250 West for 2.8 miles
4. Take the McIntire Rd/John W. Warner Pkwy Exit
5. Turn right onto John W. Warner Parkway
6. In ½ mile turn left onto Melbourne Rd
Directions From I-64 West
1. Take exit 118B to merge onto US-29N towards Charlottesville/Culpepper
2. Continue for 4.3 miles on US-29N
3. Continue onto US-250 E/US-250 bypass for 1.5 miles
4. Take the McIntire Rd/John W Warner Pkwy Exit
5. Turn left onto McIntire Rd
6. In ½ mile turn left onto Melbourne Rd
Directions from I-29 North
1. Use the right 2 lanes to take VA-631/Rio Road exit towards US-29/Charlottesville
2. Turn left onto VA-631/Rio Rd E and follow for 1.7 miles
3. Use the right lane and continue straight onto John W. Warner Parkway for 1.0 miles
4. Turn right onto Melbourne Rd
Directions from I-29 South
1. Take US-29 North into Charlottesville
2. After the I-64 entrances onto US-29 North, continue for 4.3 miles on US-29N
3. Continue onto US-250 E/US-250 bypass for 1.5 miles
4. Take the McIntire Rd/John W Warner Pkwy Exit
5. Turn left onto McIntire Rd6. In ½ mile turn left onto Melbourne Rd
