Jack Cosgrove

Jack Cosgrove is from New Jersey and is the colorguard director for Brick Memorial HS. Brick Memorial has won numerous TOB region and state championships as well has a finalist at many BOA regional championship contests. Jack is currently in his 2nd year serving on the design team for Princess Anne HS from Virginia Beach, VA.

Bobby Jones

Bobby Jones is a highly sought-after visual designer and program consultant for many high school marching bands, winter guards, indoor percussion ensembles and drum and bugle corps throughout the United States.

He has previously served as the Visual Designer and Caption Head for the 2006 Crossmen and the 2007 Hawthorne Caballeros. He is also the Visual Designer for the Jersey Surf Drum and Bugle Corps and has produced award-winning visual programs for the Reading Buccaneers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2005, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. He is the current drill designer for the The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps.

When Bobby is not designing or teaching, he works as a freelance adjudicator and adjudicates scholastic percussion programs for several indoor and outdoor circuits across the country. He lives in New York with his wife, Amy, and puppy, Myron.

Matthew Phillips

Matthew Phillips is a native of Chesapeake and is in his sixth year as a band director in the Hugo Owens Middle School program. His responsibilities include teaching the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands as well as leading the Hugo Owens Jazz Band. Before teaching at Hugo Owens Middle School, Mr. Phillips taught for three years at Hickory High School and two years at Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, VA. Like many other local band directors Mr. Phillips received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from East Carolina University and earned his Master's Degree in Secondary Education from Old Dominion University, studying with Jon Wacker, Scott Carter, Christopher Knighten, Dennis Zeisler, and Gregory Hurley. He has performed in the Virginia Wind Symphony for the past ten years, and also serves as a private percussion teacher. Mr. Phillips has served as a successful percussion instructor/clinician to many local schools, with multiple seasons of service at Great Bridge, Hickory, and now Grassfield High Schools. Earning the respect of his fellow Music Educators, Mr. Phillips has most recently been elected to serve as the Virginia Band and Orchestra Directors Association District 4 Representative, serving and representing music educators from Portsmouth, Suffolk, Isle of Wight County, and Chesapeake. Mr. Phillips is currently a member of the Percussive Arts Society, MENC, and NEA.

Eric Robertshaw

Eric Robertshaw is a native of Pennsylvania, Eric currently resides in Asbury Park, New Jersey, where he works as a hearing car practitioner for Beltone. Eric's background in the performing arts includes visual design, teaching, and judging for winter guards, marching bands, and drum corps since 1997. As a musician, Eric performs regularly with multiple orchestras throughout the New York Tri-State area. Some of the drum and bugle corps that Eric has taught and/or designed for include the Crossmen, the Cadets, the Reading Buccaneers, and most recently the Hawthorne Caballeros.
